Teacher Overview:

Essential Question- How do we get objects to move when they are in contact with each other? What happens when forces change? When weight changes?

Standards- 3-PS2-1, 3-PS2-2, & 3-PS2-4

Students will be given a balloon, string/yarn, tape, stopwatch, and eventually weights and a balance scale. 

Students will attach the blown-up balloon to the straw and attempt to fly it down the string. Students should time the duration from start to finish of the flight. Students will begin to add weights throughout the trials.

Students use will use the materials and send the ballon in flight on the string provided.
